Who We Are
The Elite Syncopation quintet has been touring the United States from coast to coast for over a decade, performing their unique interpretations of ragtime and early jazz.
Basing their performances on a collection of rare original performance materials, the quintet recreates the sound of an early 20th-century American dance music ensemble in authentic performances of landmarks from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
Their first CD, Sidewalk Blues, was released in 1995, and their second CD, Birmingham Break Down, was released in 2002.
